The Adobe Acrobat Reader should already be installed on the reader’s computer – if it is not, then we offer a link to download the software here.

We presently have a situation where various major Internet browsers might render our “enhanced” PDF files in different and sometimes erratic ways.

The following browsers still are not able to properly render our GNM PDF image enlargements ...

Edge (totally unresponsive)
Firefox (offers an alternative way to view our PDF files - the Adobe Reader)
Safari (offers an alternative - the Adobe Reader)

In Windows 10, the *.pdf file extension needs to be “associated” in the Windows 10 default settings with Adobe Acrobat Reader. Here is how to do that ...

Go to Settings/Apps/Default Apps/Choose default apps by file type - wait - scroll down to the PDF file extension, click on the icon and make sure that this file type is associated with Adobe Reader as your default app to open PDF files.
For Apple devices, the Adobe Reader should be installed on your device.

All this to say that, if you want a faithful rendering of our GNM PDF files, then you need to make sure that Adobe Acrobat is your default program to open PDF files with.
