We presently have a situation where various major Internet browsers might render our “enhanced” PDF files in different and sometimes erratic ways.

In Windows 10, the *.pdf file extension needs to be “associated” in the Windows 10 default settings with Adobe Acrobat Reader. Here is how to do that ...

Go to Settings/Apps/Default Apps/Choose default apps by file type - wait - scroll down to the pdf file extension, click on the icon and make sure that this file type is associated with Adobe Reader as your default app to open PDF files.
